Events related to the FEST Program

February 29, 2024: the FEST Log was made public, initially on Piet Hut's IAS website.

September 7, 2024: the FEST Log migrated to Substack

October 13, 2025: The FEST website was launched

October 16, 2025: A video was published by the Center for Contemplative Research (CCR)

of an interview of Piet Hut by Nicholas Matiasz.  It was the inaugural interview for their new series Fathom the Mind.

January 13, 2026:  FEST Log entry #024 was published on Substack, as the last entry on Part 4 of the Log.  This concludes Phase I, and our next entry will start Phase 2, with Part 5, entry #025.

February 12, 2026:  Besides the original FEST Log stream (with #024 as the most recent entry), we now have started a parallel stream, FEST Dialogues, with Dialogue #001 as the first entry. The entries of both streams will appear on the same Substack channel, in historical order of publication.
